I have wanted to paint this scene for years. It brings back fond memories of visiting family on Long Island, NY.  It was a great day.

  I was waiting around for a guest to check in and started painting the fruit on the dining room table.  I didn't expect to finish this.  Someone usually shows up and I don't go back to the study.

Revisiting the White China

I thought I would try this again only in watercolors.  I've been going back and forth between the two mediums and today I decided to compare them directly with the same set up and colors. So here is the watercolor and the oil is on Feb. 7th.  Let me know which you like better.
