Pears and pears
Lots of pears by my classmates at the YMCA Art Center in Sunbury, PA
This is my first blog ever. I did the Four Pears as part of an online workshop facilitated by Richard Robinson (a New Zealander) at The Complete Painter web site. First we did a black and white sketch, then we painted a value study of a naked pear. Next we painted a full color study of the pear, then the 4 pears at ten minutes each. I showed the results to my fellow students at the Y Art Center and they liked it so much that we are all doing the challenges. As you can see, we have only completed the value studies. Next week I will post the results of the color studies.
